A Date To Remember

The door bell rang. I opened the door and there he stood handsome
as ever. He handed me the most beautiful bouquet of flowers. They
were pink and blue tiger lilies wrapped in beautiful clear paper and
tied with gold ribbon. I blushed and said, "thank you". He took my
hand and escorted me to the white limousine parked in my
driveway. "What's the occasion," I said.
"You will see," he said.

While we drove we had champaign.
When we arrived,  we were at a big cruise boat.  My mind was
racing with wander.  We entered this room that looked like a big
ballroom.  The walls were gold. The windows were long and huge,
covered with red satin curtains pulled back with gold sash. In the
middle was a long wooden oak table decorated with crystal and
roses.

We sat down and ate the most wonderful meal that you could
imagine, with prime rib, potatoes, vegetables, soup, and wine.

After we ate, we went to the top of the ship and looked at the
ocean and the twinkly stars in the dark sky. Soft music played in the
background. We danced all night long.

We stopped for a short while and looked into each others eyes and
kissed. It was soft but yet a passionate  kiss. He gently pulled away
and said I have something for you. He pulled out a tiny blue satin
box and opened it. There  laid a beautiful, eye opener diamond ring.
He said,will you marry me.........
I said yes.
