This is Flurry.
He came to us one summer.  I had just arrive home to Church Street, and found
this little kitten in my driveway.  His eyes were matted shut.  He could not see where
he was going.  I brought him up and cleaned him and fed him, and knew right there
that he would stay with us.
He was a love bucket right from day one.  If you sat down, he was on your lap
immediately.  Often, when you would pull a kitchen chair out to sit down, he was
sleeping on it.  He was a good kitty, and we loved him.
He snuck out of the house  one day while I was coming home with groceries.  I
caught a hold of him, but he slipped easily away from me.  10 minutes later a
woman came to the door crying.   Flurry had been hit by a car and was dead.
Nicole and I buried him in the back yard of 201-1/2 Church Street.
