Wendy's Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients:
1/2 cup flour
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp pepper  (or more to taste if you like pepper)
10 shakes crushed red pepper
24 ounces of sharp cheddar cheese -  Grate it
stick of margarine or butter- (I used imperial margarine)
4 cups of milk - (I use skim but use whatever you have)
16 ounce box of macaroni

Instructions:
1. Cook Macaroni until al dente
In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, and crushed red   pepper until smooth. (no flour lumps)
2. Melt 1/2 cup of Imperial margarine.
3. Take off heat and mix in flour mixture until smooth
4. Gradually pour in the 4 cups of milk and mix
5. Heat until it begins to boil stirring constantly so it does not burn or scald
6. heat for one more minute
7. Put in the cheese and mix until melted leaving enough cheese  to sprinkle on the top.
8. Mix in Macaroni well.  Sprinkle with extra cheese
9. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 mutes or until golden-(We like the cheese goldenish on
top, others like it creamy so it is up to you how long it bakes.  Here I have 15 minutes,
but I bake mine for almost 30 until the top cheese is gold brown.

The basic recipe I took this from was from a famous restaurant card collection my Dad
had given me.  I added the 8 ounces more cheese to make it 24 ounces  and the
crushed red pepper.  It was good both ways though.  I just like things cheesier and more
flavor.

Enjoy!
