Ralph Marotta Jr. 60 of West Montgomery St., Johnstown, entered into rest on Friday Aug 3, 2007 at Albany Medical Center Hosptial with his loving family at his side after a short illness Born March 26, 1947 in Amsterdam to the late Ralph & Francis Fabozzi Marotta Sr. He was a 1965 graduate of Willbur Lynch Highschool in Amsterdam and a 1970 graduate of Oswego State College. Ralph was an outside steel salesman for over 30 years. He was currently employed with Deman & Davis of Albany, NY. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church of Johnstown. Ralph was a lgreat friend, loving husband, father and grandfather. Ralph always had a joke or funny story to tell. Ralph enjoyed everything about horse racing. For Ralph, the horses were always on the track. He is survived by his loving wife Sally Bisignani Marotta whom he married May 24, 1969; his daughter, Rhonda and her husband, Vincent Mascardi Jr., of Malta; his son, Ralph (Boomer) III and his wife, Amy (Weber) Marotta, of Johnstown; his grandchildren, Taylor and Carly Marotta of Johnstown and Vincent III and Nicholas Mascardi of Malta, NY. A brother, Robert Marotta of Ocala FL. and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church with rev Kenneth Swain as celabrant Interment will be in Mt Carmel Cemetery The family will recieve friends on Monday from 4-7pm at the Barter & Donnan Funeral Home Corner of Main & Melcher st Johnstown Memorial contributions may be made to American Liver Foundation, 75 Madison Lane, Suite 603 New York, NY 10038-4810.
